AK Interactive Chipping Effect – 17ml (AK11262)

AK Interactive Chipping Effect (AK11262) is a speciality acrylic medium used to create realistic paint chipping and weathering effects on miniatures, vehicles, and terrain.

Applied as an intermediate layer between a base coat and a top coat, the Chipping Effect acts as a water-soluble barrier. Once the top coat is dry, lightly dampen the surface with water and use a stiff brush or toothpick to scrape away the upper paint layers — revealing the base colour beneath for convincing worn, battle-damaged paint effects.
