Community First
Welcome to the first Narrative Event at Arcane Forge — and the best way to dive into the brand new 11th Edition rules. We are playing with the latest ruleset and all-new 11th Edition terrain, so whether you're a veteran general or picking up 40K for the first time, this is your chance to learn all the new rules while having fun alongside your team. We are more than a store. We are your local gaming headquarters in the heart of Amsterdam, built on four pillars:
War for the Warp Forge
This is a team-based narrative. Unlike competitive play, you'll fight alongside allies to determine the fate of an entire system. No tournament pressure. No meta lists. Just shared stories worth telling long after the dice are packed away.
Crusade progression: your units will grow in skill and your army will expand in size based on secret events revealed during the day. Bring an evolving force, not a fixed list.

The Kessandras Incident
Deep within the Segmentum Obscurus lies the Warp Forge System — a cluster of industrial moons and forge-worlds that serve as a vital spiritual and mechanical anchor for the region. At its heart sits Kessandras Prime, a world covered in sprawling gothic manufactorums and ancient "Arcane Forges": relic-machinery capable of crafting weapons that hum with an unstable, semi-psychic energy.
For millennia, these forges were silent. But as the Great Rift tore the galaxy in two, the Warp Forge began to glow once more.
A massive psychic shockwave — known to local astropaths as the Forge-Pulse — has rippled through the system. This energy didn't just restart the machines; it began to pull the system slowly into the Warp. The veil has thinned to the point where the air tastes of ozone and copper, and the shadows in the manufactorums have begun to move.
For the Emperor's servants, the Warp Forge is a holy site. They cannot allow the ancient tech-relics to fall into heretical hands. High Command has issued an order: hold the Forges at any cost. If the system is lost, the sector's supply of sanctified weaponry dies with it.
Drawn by the scent of shifting reality, the forces of the Dark Gods have descended. To them, the Warp Forge is a massive ritual site. By corrupting the machines, they can turn the entire system into a permanent rift — a gateway for a full-scale daemonic incursion into the heart of the sub-sector.
From Ork warbands chasing the biggest scrap, to Necron dynasties reclaiming stolen tomb-tech, to Aeldari strike forces racing to prevent psychic catastrophe — the Xenos threats have arrived in force. Each has a secret objective. All stand in the way of the Forge's survival.
The fighting on the ground mirrors the brutal, attritional warfare of the legendary Wars for Armageddon. Industrial zones have become meat-grinders. Massive ash-wastes are crossed by columns of steel. Inside the hive-factories, desperate room-to-room fighting breaks out over a single power-switch or data-loom.
You are a Field Commander arriving at the height of the first wave. Your Crusade begins in the shadow of these massive smoking chimneys. Will you secure the Arcane Forge for your masters — or will you watch as the system is consumed by the very fires it used to stoke?
