Vallejo Dry Brush Set (B07990) — Natural Hair, Small / Medium / Large

Three natural-hair brushes shaped specifically for drybrushing — small, medium and large. Drybrushing is the fastest way to bring out texture and edges, and dedicated brushes make it far easier than ruining a detail brush in the process.

What's included

• Dry brush — Small: edge highlights on infantry, fine chainmail and trim
• Dry brush — Medium: general texture work, cloaks, fur, armour

How to drybrush

1. Load a small amount of paint on the brush
2. Wipe almost all of it off on a paper towel until the brush looks nearly dry
3. Sweep lightly across raised surfaces — the paint catches edges and texture only
4. Build up in several passes rather than one heavy one
